Weld Splatter

Weld Splatter Cause

Weld Splatter is caused by oxide which gets very hot when trying to weld. It gets so hot, in this case, it erupts off of the area, and lands somewhere else in a molten state. Anti-splatter shields prevent it from sticking to the metal, making possible to be scraped off with a wire brush.

4C adds a new twist to the big weld splattering by keeping it from happening in the first place.
