This is the next size up from the Shotgun SM - gas port tube

Get the largest plug to fit tightly without adding to it into the chamber of a 12 gauge shotgun, as the chamber is the next size up, 10 gauge. This is high-durability, wide temperature Silicone that tapers to fit into 12 Gauge Shotgun tube. While the size of 10 Gauge it need to compress if used as a chamber plug for Parkerizing, it is a specialty item - but if you have one to do (or would like to do one), you can get a couple for Parkerizing or Hot Blue Immersion, 1 or 2 for cold bluing (by hand).

For .410 Gauge Shotgun, you need large-bore handgun-rifle.

For 28 - 16 Gauge Shotgun, you need the Mid-caliber Shotgun.

Temperature range is from 0 degrees F to 600 degrees F (316 C)

At 1.00 inch long, it is short enough to save you some money: since this material is very expensive. (Short is like wholesale.)

Each of these plugs will survive many uses in this solution - or for preventing cold, warm or hot bluing from penetrating - one advantage of Silicone.
