This is the only adjustable-on-the-fly Ruger 10/22 rifle bedding kit.

This is designed also to fit and has worked perfectly in one Ruger Model 96 lever action

For example the HM2 which due to its finicky requirement needs this 3rd generation bedding system to be at its most precision self.

To bed the action of a Ruger 10/22 and also Ruger Model 96 conversion to Mach 2. The only thing not included in the kit is a settable epoxy, which you can use JB Weld or Brownell's Acraglass without the release. Describing it without releasing proprietary information is a challenge. Another useful piece of equipment is a 40-60 inch-pound torque wrench so you can log the correct adjustment for each Ammo.

The stock Glass and Epoxy Bedding Kit systems already available on the market-place are not as good as this for the precision of the HM2 round.

The new bedding kit comes with complete Skeeter instructions.

As you see, this kit is made up of the following three items. They add to each other in sequence, each very simple and brilliant. All together the creation is an adjustable rock-solid bed for the action: Action then adjusted to the ammunition and environmental conditions.

1. dial-it bedding system. (RTV silicone required.)
2. The meat and potates: Tuned bedding system to work with the above. (You will need a 1/2 inch self-centering drill bit, JB-Weld or permanent epoxy, inch pound torque wrench for torquing around the "sweet spot" dialed for all ammo for changing weather conditions or ammo brand. 36-44 inch pound-capable torque wrench.) All hardware itself is either included or on the gun.
3. Now to improve the rest of it. (The tools required in no special order include 1/4" drill bit, 7/32 round chainsaw file for touching up holes, 90 degree pick tool, masking or duct tape, an allen wrench for the bolts)

In any case it is superior in performance on purpose to epoxy alone out of necessity and adjustable both "in-the-field" (with a torque wrench) and out: no adding or removing shims or bedding required.

There is alot that goes into the kits, and the invention(s) and innovation(s) involved is quite remarkable (due to innovation) no matter how many hours were used - and many many were used for up-to-the-monent testing and development into this "pressure point micro-adjustable bedding system." (Stage 3)

In other words it is three remarkable kits combined into one, since each successive kit builds upon the precision of the prevoius one. It is shown as 3 Kits in 2 Kits.

Bottom Line: this is the first tunable bedding system to the ammo for the Ruger 10/22 rather than the other way around.
