I parkerized my new m1 receiver and the Ballester-Molina .45 last weekend with incredible results. I used the remainder of the Heavy Zinc from my last M1 project with far superior results by following the directions more closely. The finish has a very fine grained, velvety texture and, in the right light, has an effet like finely chrushed diamonds. After the parkerizing bath, I used Lubriplate grease on thr receiver and the SS water displacing oil on the .45 components. I've already have people wanting me to do projects for them. ...
