Resin will be the low cost spray and dip coating that will beat the most expensive resin coatings on the market today. (The functional goal). It will be advanced beyond what is available today from most mainline sources, and formulated of US-based ingredients to be inexpensive too.

It will be available in different custom formulations and standard colors and finished to do a terrific job and be inexpensive. It will inlcude fancy polymers, MolyDisulphide, PTFE, and drying agents. It, like the more expenive product line will not require oven baking. It will have very strong adhering properties to all metals and plastics. It will initially be available in whites, blacks, of various finishes and maybe O.D. Green and other colors.

Epoxy Resin

This will be far more expensive than the low cost, but it will include imported high-tech stuff and unusual chemical make-up to be virtually "bullet proof". It will have different variations and chemistry, will be initially two-part epoxies with ample set time: the strongest technology on Earth. (Including bake-on technology). Bake-on is quicker, but inferior. Every product has extreme flexibility, heat resistance, wear resistance, scratch resistance, and some with lubricity. No solvent will penetrate or remove: impervious to everything known. (More testing needs to be done with bore solutions: but the expectation is perfection.) There is even a version to repel barnacles is Sea Water. So guess how good the salt corrosion resistance is? The preferred method to use small amounts is epected to be dip or hobbyist spray brush (capable of holding ounce amounts). It can spray in .5 - 3.5 mil thicknesses, and Moly-Disulphide-Teflon™-Nylon-+ initially is in the charcoal black. ShooterSoluitons is weeks away from a controlled release.
