Moly Di-Sulfide

Moly-Fusion™ is NOT Moly Di-sulfide. Related to the topic is what is wrong with Moly as in Moly Di-sulfide, Moly Di-sulphide.

Note the above is true, though many don't want to believe it. It has been written in Precision Shooting that all of the Moly di-sulfide must be removed after every shooting are the heat created compounds can and do cause pitting underneath. It imbeds into the metal, making this corrosive very hard to remove. Fusion is part of the steel, no sulfur involved. (sulfuric acid made of residual compounds and water vapor of the di-sulfide are corrosive) di-sulfide = two parts sulfer. While Mo S2 stable cold, any heat creates Mo S3 and Mo S1.
What I mean to say is there was an important research article in Precision Shooting back in '99 or there about that cooberates/adds to KnitePoet's statements. I remember reading it. There is also much further evidence and warnings against Moly Disulfide. Since it is not in every product, this would help underscore there is a chemical problem (namely heat). XF2:

I used to use them now I treat the barrel with Moly-Fusion and shoot the cheaper and cleaner plain bullets.

BETTER and more EFFICIENT (Treat the barrel, not the bullets) and Cheaper (treat the barrel only - the part you want to preserve.)
