September, 2004:
Jonathan, I bought a 4 ounce bottle at a gun show 10 years ago and had never completely refinished a stock with it but have used it on about 50 guns to fill dents, dings and scratches over the years that I have bought or dinged up in the field. I have always been very impressed with the results. I inherited an old Browning Sweet 16 from my grandfather that had great blue on it but the finish on the stock was pretty bad. I decided to sand the arrow into the stock on this one instead of just hand rubbing like I have done on all the minor nicks, bumps and bruises in the past. I started out with 320 grit and worked my way to 1000 grit and then hand rubbed the finish and I am sure the gun looks as good as it did when it was new. My 14 year old son couldn't believe it, he went and got his favorite shotgun and deer rifle and went to work hand rubbing the Arrow Wood Finish on them. I cant imagine why any gun dealer would be without this stuff!
