Product Description

Pictured is the black, but you can pick red or raw aluminum (to polish or prepare and paint)
Rimfire Technologies' Ruger 77/22 precision barrel to Ruger 10/22 or Model 96 Conversion Shim Kit
Because the greatest difficulty is to modify the Ruger V-Block or to modify it too far, for your convenience with the kit, you can save money by getting one with your shim kit.
The reason for the different colors is to match your trigger.
Black trigger = black shim, or red, or raw.

With this and a modified "V-Block" (Complete directions included, but as stated above), will convert any model 77/22 barrel to the Ruger 10/22 Semi-auto or Model 96 lever action.

You need this part as part of an available here barrel shim kit to convert a Ruger 77/22 barrel onto a Ruger 10/22

You can upgrade to the Adjustable bedding kit for $29.96 more if you decide to upgrade at a later time.

The reason it is part of the adjustable bedding kit is if you fix droop, then free-floating the barrel requires removing less material, it is designed to have more surface area in locking the barrel into the receiver, and present a good surface for the adjustable bedding kit.
